Heparinoid (Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfuric Acid Ester) Bovine 3mg/g

The active ingredient of Hirudoid is MPS (Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfuric Acid Ester) this is similar to the body's naturally occurring mucoplysaccharides. The healing tendency of the skin relies on the presence of MPS in the tissue and the effectiveness of any cream depends on its absorption. Scientific studies have shown that MPS in Hirudoid penetrates the skin and is able to reach the dermal layers in effective concentrations.
